The primary responsibility of a full-time Game Designer is to design, build and iterate the next wave of game changing mobile games that will be played by millions of people. All candidates need to have the passion for pushing the envelope.
Key tasks will include:
- Developing comprehensive and detailed game design documents and specifications
- Analyzing user feedback and social metrics to adjust game play and design
- Working with engineers, artists and data teams to iterate and tune designs in a collaborative manner
- Creating user interface flows and screen wireframes
- Using spreadsheets to analyze/design complex game economies
- Staying up-to-date with social and mobile game designs and best practices
- Designing and adapting leading social game practices in our games
- Working with project leds, developers and artists during the implementation of ideas
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree and 3 years of game design experience with a minimum of two shipped game titles preferred
- Detailed knowledge of and interest in the social gaming industry
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a personal focus on goals and metrics
- Highly efficient documentation skills
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability and risk
- Programming and/or art experience will be considered an asset but not required
