Job Profile
Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for all paint restoration of welding equipment.
We are looking for a Painter who:
Mixes and applies multipart paints.
Prepares surfaces using manual and power sanding tools to remove rust, grease, dirt, concrete and old paint prior to paint application.
Reads work orders or receive instructions from Shop Supervisor to determine work requirements.
Applies paint using air type and airless equipment in spray booth operation.
Follows and maintains manufacture quality standards.
Ensures all equipment used is cleaned properly.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Secondary education equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
Five years working knowledge of paint booth operation; automotive painting preferred.
