OverviewBunge North America (BNA) has a unique opportunity for individuals to join the BNA team and participate in a comprehensive training program designed to give an understanding of the operations and processes of Bunges value chain. Over an eighteen to twenty-four month time frame, successful candidates will receive regionally based cross functional exposure to a number of Bunges business units while performing various operational functions. Trainees will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation in all aspects of operational and commercial processes.
Upon successful completion of the program, trainees will be placed into a full time position (Crush supervisor, refined oil Supervisor, Maintenance manager, Safety coordinator, etc.)that complements both the needs of the company and the employees strengths. Essential Functions
- Trainees will participate fully in the day to day physical operation of a Bunge facility to understand fundamental operations and processes
- Develop a thorough understanding of operational and commercial processes
- Trainees will, from time to time, demonstrate their level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or the program manager
- Trainees may for a period of time be required to travel to other Bunge locations for instructional purposes
- Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing operational conditions and will communicate findings to appropriate personnel in a timely fashion
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and co-workers
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Technical, Ag Mechanization or similar degree
- Good problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be well organized, goal oriented and self-directed
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in standard PC applications
- Standard work hours 8 AM 5 PM subject to adjustment as required by assignment
- Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities is required
