Position Purpose: This position will be responsible for maintaining/growing both dollar volume and gross margin contribution from customers in the territory selling WL/Americas/Nexgrow/PL brand alfalfa genetics. Emphasis will be placed on training customer sales staffs to promote and successfully sell high margin alfalfa and value added traits/technologies. This salesperson will work remotely out of the Tri Cities Washington area, and will cover Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Nevada.
Qualifications:
Experience-Education (Required):
College education; preferably Crop Science major; CCA certification helpful. 3 years of related agronomy or agriculture-related sales experience.
Competencies-Skills (Required):
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Five years of successful sales experience, preferably in seed or crop inputs
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Microsoft Outlook
Good written and strong verbal communication skills required
